The short version. I'm Jev is a free game run by one person for fun. Be decent to other players, don't try to break it, and understand that it's provided as-is with no guarantees.
1. The service
I'm Jev (imjev.ai, the "game") is a free, browser-based party game operated by an individual (the "operator"). Anyone may watch; playing requires signing in with a Google account. By using the game you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- One account per person. Don't share your account or use someone else's.
- You're responsible for activity under your account. Sign out on shared devices.
- You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your profile.
3. Usernames and conduct
- Usernames are shown publicly. They must be appropriate for all ages: no slurs, hate speech, sexual content, profanity in any language, harassment, impersonation of staff or of Jev, or attempts to evade the appropriateness check. Usernames are screened automatically and may be rejected or removed at the operator's discretion.
- Don't automate play, submit guesses through anything other than the game's own interface, exploit bugs to affect scores, or interfere with other players or the service. The operator may remove scores, reset accounts, or block access for doing so.
4. Leaderboards, scores and AI
Scores measure distance from placements made by an AI model ("Jev"). Jev's answers are opinions of a model, not facts, and may be surprising or inconsistent; that's the game. Rounds may occasionally be voided (for example if the model doesn't answer in time). The operator may adjust rules, timing, scoring, and leaderboards at any time and may correct or remove results affected by bugs or abuse. Some players you see may be simulated participants used to keep games full.
5. Content
Spectrums and items are generated with AI and reviewed for sense, but may occasionally be odd or in poor taste. If you see something inappropriate, email me@imjev.ai and it will be removed. Nothing in the game is intended as a statement about any real person.
6. Availability and changes
The game is a hobby project. It may be changed, paused, reset, or shut down at any time without notice, and leaderboards and history may be cleared. There is no obligation to keep any data or feature available.
7. No warranty; limitation of liability
The game is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the game. Because the game is free, the operator's total liability to you for any claim will not exceed zero dollars ($0).
8. Termination
You may stop using the game at any time and delete your account from your profile. The operator may suspend or terminate access for violating these terms.
9. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated; the date at the top will change. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
